Spring Break Vacation part 1
For my spring break vacation I really wanted to take a trip somewhere. Not Hawaii, not even New York. No, I wanted to go to Portland and Seattle. The two rainiest, cloudiest places in the U.S. Well I love the rain and clouds so that's just fine by me!!! Here's a little photo diary of the first part to my trip, my days in Seattle, Washington.
On the drive up, I was surrounded by the most astonishing beauty I had possibly ever seen. Dark green forest towered on each side of our car, and a coolly cloudy sky was our constant companion. On the ride over on the Bremerton ferry, the view was even better. Beauty all around xoxo
We had dinner at The Daliyah Lounge-- excuisite cuisine so artistically put together into edible masterpieces-- and then back to the hotel for the night. The next day, we toured all around Seattle, going to all the hottest sights including the Space Needle. Built in 1962 for the World's Fair, the Space Needle is a birdseye view over all of Seattle. The view was stunning!
Then, we took a trip to Pike's Market-- an outdoor market with food, fish, and shops. Such a fun environment and a real Seattle experience.
The rest of the day was spent walking around the city and picking up bits of food and things to munch on! It was raining all the while. J'aime la ville! I love the city.
And of course I had to get a Starbucks at the place where it all began! I am really in love with it all up here. I cannot wait for the rest of the trip. More pics and updates coming soon! Oh and follow me on Instagram for more photos @loveyobeautiful
