POST IN PARTNERSHIP WITH @DINE

Hey babes! Happy Weekend!
I'd like to introduce you to your new favorite dating app: DINE.
Recently featured on Refinery29, Dine is taking dating from quick hookups to true adventures, with their slogan "More Dates, Not Swipes." Within a world full of swipes left or right, it's difficult to imagine the way modern dating sites have turned from the exploration and discovery of new people that will last a lifetime, into a single file line of superficial one night stands. Apps like Tinder have taken every spark of magic and excitement out of dating, and thrown most of the youth demographic that uses it into a mindset of first-glance snap judgements to determine someone's worth. In contrast, #Dine is focused on giving you both a night of culinary culture, and good company too, setting you up with people that choose similar restaurants in your area. There's even an option to pick up the tab, or pay separately, keeping dating protocol in the mix without any awkward bargaining over the check.
First impressions are all about presentation, so here are a few tips and tricks for my date night style, to keep you classic, clean, and ready for whatever comes!
1. Light shimmering makeup-- I love feeling like I’m glowing: an effervescent beauty look is easily attainable by using pink highlight on the top of the cheeks and along the forehead/nose, shimmer shadow under the brows, a gold liner for the eyes, and a shining nude lipstick pencil to softly blend your lips into the rest of the look.
2. Clean and classic-- the LBD is your BFF for any date night activity. Sexy, sleek, and sophisticated, a girl dressed in black has the power to conquer the world. I am loving form fitting (but not suffocating) Bodycons lately, which not only show off my hourglass figure, but also inspire me to work for it every day. Add a bit of shine with a bold watch and a gold necklace, and you’ve got yourself a stunning outfit that says you’ve done your research.
3. The Accent-- Wrap it all up with clean lines in your shoes and purse. A pair of simplistic sandal heels work perfectly with such a bold dress, and elongate your leg for optimal lines. A black Chloe inspired handbag with gold rimming to match my jewelry was the obvious choice, small enough to go unnoticed, but big enough to carry a book, journal, water, and anything else you might need on your night out escapade.
Dine with style, Dine out, #GoDine with DINE!
