Welcome to Novemberland
. . . . .
November is my absolute favorite time.
Here in Sunny SoCal, its finally chilling down, and a wild layer of fog settles over our dusty blue landscape. Surrounded by rustic rock formations and towering purple mountain's majesty, my go-to wardrobe staple is colored with All Things Denim from my absolute favorite vintage company, Buckskin Vintage. For flawless fit and sensational style, Buckskin's amazing vintage darling duo travels the country to find only the coolest one-of-a-kind Americana pieces.
Buckskin's trademark "Native State of Mind" is clearly stitched into every free spirit piece, cultivating a collection that is both stylistically exceptional and outstandingly transitional from modern cowboy to boho chic.
For this new Vintage editorial on The Indie Girl, I pulled on classic 1980's styling, with rural Americana inspired vintage denim as the centerpiece of each look. Incredible Calvin Klein Boot Cuts in a dark wash fit the fall-fashion scene perfectly this season when paired with a minimal Ribbed Turtleneck and Oversized Camel Blazer. I couldn't escape my sportswear obsession even here, as I paired this amazing Vintage Varsity Sweatshirt with Levis Denim Cutoffs and a Motto Leather Jacket-- this last piece reminds me so much of the song "House Of The Rising Sun" by the Animals! And finally, exploring my never ending love affair with Vintage Levis 501 Acid Wash Denim with a double denim look in light wash.
